Workforce Rebrands to Reflect a New Era
A new name for the next chapter of a workforce company built on people, opportunity, and relationships since 1998.
In 2026, I-Tech Resources is entering its next chapter as Workforce.
The name is changing, but the principles behind our company are not.
For nearly three decades, our work has been about connecting people with opportunity and helping employers build the teams they need to succeed.
reflects both where we came from and where we are going.
The 98 reminds us where we began. VIA points us toward where we're going.
Our Story Began in Jacksonville in 1998
Our company began in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1998 as I-Tech Personnel Services, Inc.
Founded by Marco Tran, the business initially focused on technical and engineering recruiting.
But businesses don't grow by standing still.
As we listened to customers and responded to the needs of the Jacksonville market, our work expanded beyond those original specialties. Manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and other workforce needs became increasingly important parts of the company.
In 2010, we entered the next chapter of that story as I-Tech Resources, Inc.
Over the years, the company continued to grow, adapt, and build relationships with employers and workers throughout the communities we serve.
Why ?
As our company evolved, the I-Tech name no longer told the entire story.
The word "Tech" could suggest that we were primarily an information technology staffing company. In reality, the workforce needs we support had become much broader.
We wanted a name capable of carrying our history forward without limiting where the company could go next.
That's where came from.
98 honors the year our story began.
VIA is forward-looking. It suggests a path, a connection, and a way from one place to another.
Together, the name represents a company that remembers its beginnings while continuing to move forward.
Technology Has Changed. The Importance of People Hasn't.
The workforce industry today looks very different from the one we entered in 1998.
Recruiting platforms, automation, digital communication, analytics, and artificial intelligence are changing how employers find people and how people find work.
We welcome that change.
intends to use technology wherever it can help us communicate more effectively, make better decisions, reduce unnecessary administrative work, and serve people more efficiently.
But technology isn't the reason our company exists.
People are.
As Eric Nguyen, President & CEO of Workforce, puts it:
"Technology can help us make better decisions. But behind every workforce decision is still a person."
That belief will continue to shape how we use technology.
We want better tools.
We also want those tools to give our team more time to listen, understand, solve problems, and build relationships.
Sometimes the Impact of a Job Isn't Visible Right Away
Years ago, Eric attended a job fair and met a man looking for work.
After speaking with him, Eric decided to give him an opportunity and hired him on the spot.
At the time, it was simply a hiring decision.
Years later, their paths crossed again.
The man was now a foreman.
He told Eric that the opportunity he had been given years earlier helped him establish himself, continue progressing, and provide for his family.
For Eric, that conversation became a reminder of something that can be easy to overlook in the workforce business.
A job is not simply a position being filled.
For the person receiving the opportunity, it can become part of a much larger story.
We may not always know where that story leads.
But the opportunity matters.
What Means for Employers
For employers, represents the continued evolution of a workforce partner built to understand more than a job order.
Every organization operates differently.
The same job title can mean different things depending on the workplace, schedule, equipment, management style, expectations, and people involved.
Our responsibility is to understand those differences.
Whether an employer is considering temporary staffing, temp-to-hire, direct hire, recruiting support, payroll services, or a broader workforce solution, the conversation should begin with the business need.
What problem are we trying to solve?
What does success in the position actually require?
What kind of person is likely to succeed in that environment?
Those questions matter more than simply filling a seat.
What Means for Job Seekers
The same principle applies to people looking for work.
We don't believe people should be reduced to application numbers or keywords on a résumé.
Work experience matters.
So do reliability, attitude, transferable skills, availability, goals, and the circumstances that affect whether an opportunity will actually work for someone.
Sometimes the right opportunity is temporary.
Sometimes it provides a path toward permanent employment.
Sometimes an experienced professional is ready for the next stage of a career.
Our role is to understand as much as we can about the person and the opportunity so we can help bring the two together.
What Means for the People Working on Assignment
The people who go to work on assignments are not simply filling positions for our customers.
They represent themselves, , and the work we do together.
Their effort is one of the reasons our company has been able to grow for nearly three decades.
That creates a responsibility on our side as well.
We want employees to know who they work with, how to reach us, where to find information, and that there are real people behind the systems they use.
Technology can make that communication easier.
The relationship still matters.
A Broader Workforce Company
Today, our work extends far beyond the technical recruiting focus with which the company began.
supports employers and workers across areas including manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, hospitality, professional and administrative work, skilled trades, and other workforce needs.
That evolution is one of the primary reasons the new name matters.
We needed a brand capable of representing the company we are today while giving us room to continue building the company we want to become.
does that.
The Next Chapter
A rebrand can change a logo, a website, a sign, or the name on a business card.
Those things matter.
But they are not what determines the kind of company we become.
That will be determined by how we treat people.
It will be determined by whether we keep our commitments.
It will be determined by whether employers can trust us with their workforce challenges and whether people looking for work believe we genuinely want to help.
It will be determined by the decisions we make when doing the right thing is harder than doing the easy thing.
Those responsibilities existed before .
They will continue long after the new name becomes familiar.
Our goal for the years ahead is straightforward:
Help good people find opportunity and help good companies find the people they need.
The name is new.
The responsibility isn't.
Welcome to Workforce.
