About this position
We are seeking an energetic, customer focused Banquet Server to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service during events, including serving food and drinks, setting up banquet spaces, and ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests. This position requires a professional appearance, a commitment to cleanliness and safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Food & Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner during events, ensuring guests' needs are met and providing excellent customer service throughout.
Bartending Duties: Set up and stock the bar area as required, mix and serve drinks according to company standards, and ensure responsible alcohol service. Adhere to Serve Safe guidelines and company protocols.
Event Setup & Clean up: Assist in setting up tables, chairs, linens, and place settings prior to events. After events, help in cleaning up and resetting the banquet space.
Maintain Cleanliness & Safety Standards: Follow food and beverage safety protocols, maintain cleanliness of serving areas, and report any issues or incidents immediately.
Guest Assistance: Respond to guest requests, inquiries, and feedback professionally, working to provide a seamless and enjoyable event experience.
Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with the banquet team and event coordinators to ensure smooth operations and seamless service throughout events.
Qualifications:
Certification: Current Serve Safe Certification is preferred.
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the venue.
Appearance: Must maintain a neat, tidy, and professional appearance according to company standards.
Experience: Prior experience in serving or bartending preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, a customer first attitude, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $14.50-$15.50 per hour (Depending on position)
