We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Construction Superintendent for our client, a commercial construction company providing construction and renovation services across multiple industries. This role oversees daily field operations, coordinates subcontractors, and ensures projects meet schedule, quality, and safety requirements.

Candidates should have healthcare or aviation construction experience . Relevant healthcare or aviation certifications and training are a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement site logistics, including posting required permits and signage.
Direct subcontractors' daily activities and coordinate work to maintain the project schedule.
Prepare and distribute three-week look-ahead schedules to subcontractors and the Project Manager.
Maintain daily project logs and upload progress photos to Procore.
Submit weekly timesheets by established deadlines.
Conduct weekly toolbox talks and enforce safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, and OSHA protocols.
Monitor workmanship and ensure overall project quality.
Maintain a clean, organized jobsite throughout construction.
Keep company tools and vehicles clean and in good working condition.
Coordinate and oversee required building inspections.
Ensure all punch list items are completed accurately and on time.

Required Qualifications

Experience supervising commercial construction projects, with a background in healthcare or aviation construction.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and coordinate subcontractors and project teams.
Commitment to safety, quality, professional integrity, and client satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare or aviation construction certifications, qualifications, or relevant safety training.
Proficiency in Procore construction management software.
Experience coordinating construction or renovations within active healthcare or aviation facilities.
